Has Zendaya been spotted filming Dune 2 in the UAE? No, but her wax figure has arrived at Madame Tussauds Dubai!
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 13th March 2023: Zendaya’s wax figure has been sighted in Dubai! An iconic shot taken in the Dubai desert dunes confirmed the latest addition to Madame Tussauds Dubai. On loan for a limited time from Madame Tussauds Vienna, Zendaya’s figure arrival is another great reason to visit the interactive wax attraction located on Bluewaters.
Zendaya is known for her role as ‘Chani’ in the 2021 movie, Dune and Dune 2, that is scheduled for release in November this year. Both movies were partially filmed in the UAE. She is best known for her role as ‘MJ’ in the Spider-Man films next to Tom Holland as well as Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover. In 2020, at the age of 24, she became the youngest recipient of a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Euphoria.
Zendaya’s wax figure will be placed in the glittering Fashion Zone inside Madame Tussauds Dubai, against a backdrop of sparkle and jewels. The likeness is shown in an original Tommy Hilfiger snake print leather suit, that she wore to the designer's New York Fashion Week in 2019. She is sporting a full mane of tumbling curls that are pretty much perfectly formed.
She joins the likes of Kylie and Kendall Jenner’s figures in the Fashion Zone, one of the seven themed areas of Madame Tussauds Dubai, the other zones being: Leaders & Royals, Film, Media, Bollywood, Sports and the A-List Music Party.
What better time to plan your visit to Madame Tussaud Dubai to pose with Zendaya’s figure and visit the interactive experiences and fantastic selection of lifelike wax figures, providing family fun for all ages.
