The Feast of Youth: Madame Tussauds Hong Kong Welcomes Cai Xukun’s First Ever Wax Figure

(Hong Kong, 16 December 2021) Today, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong launches the Chinese male singer and music producer Cai Xukun’s world-first wax figure. The figure wears the tailor-made suit by brand Alberta Ferretti, the stage costume of Cai Xukun at World's Got Talent 2019. The outfit highlights his strong charisma with the mix and match of black silk and gold buckles. The tassel shoulder knots, inspired by British military epaulettes, add a sense of majesty and luxury.

A hard-working, always-improving and constant-growing young idol

Being labelled as a singer-songwriter, music producer and music video director, the 23-year-old young idol Cai Xukun always looks for rooms of improvements. His works such as "1", "Home", "Lover", and "Lost" continuously broke records across multiple music platforms and brought him various awards including Most Influential Singer-Songwriter at the Tencent Music Entertainment Awards, Singer-Songwriter of the Year at the 2020 Weibo Night, the Best Male Singer at Chinese Top Ten Music Awards and the Migu Music Awards, Marketable Artist of the Year at the Tencent Video All Star Awards, as well as one of the Top 10 Songs of the Year with his single “Lover”. Moreover, he also made significant contributions to support various charities and launched a charity fund in collaboration with the China Children and Teenagers Fund to promote youth education, child health and development. Cai Xukun as a beloved magazine cover star, his first-ever wax figure will join all worldwide Fashionistas at the Fashion Zone of the attraction. Designed by Lucy Cant, the Lead Designer at Studio Cassells, the Fashion Zone consisted of three themed areas which are Backstage Studio, Billboard Superstar and Runway. Together with advanced AR technology, the zone has become one of the favourites among youngsters. Madame Tussauds bring the figure and Fashion Zone together to present guests with a brand new experience.  

After the launch of the figure, fans are overwhelmed by the lifelikeness of the figure and plan to visit the attraction in the coming holidays.
