Madame Tussauds New York reveals Meghan Markle figure ahead of Royal Wedding Viewing Party!

High Tea with the Royals Experience Launching This Summer, Presented by Walkers

Madame Tussauds New York is making it reign! Today, the Times Square attraction revealed “Her Royal Likeness,” Meghan Markle, alongside husband-to-be Prince Harry and announced a Royal Wedding Viewing Party and upcoming high tea experience fit for a king.

The “American Princess” joins Prince Harry, Prince William, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and the Queen in a grand new Royal Palace space which will launch a “High Tea with the Royals Presented by Walkers” experience this summer.

Known for her chic style, fashion-spectators will find Meghan’s intricate lace and crepe midi-dress familiar. Designed by British label “Self-Portrait”, the future Duchess wore an identical dress to the Queen’s annual pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on December 20, 2017. She’s also flashing a replica of the engagement ring designed by Harry himself. Harry’s figure – originally created to mark his 30th birthday in 2014 – has been updated for the special occasion, most notably adding the Royal’s dashing beard.

Royal Wedding Viewing Party

Grab your tiaras and practice your curtsey! To celebrate the Royal nuptials, Madame Tussauds New York is hosting a Royal Wedding Viewing Party like no other. On Saturday, May 19th from 6:30am – 9:30am, guests can enjoy breakfast, Walkers Shortbread, Twinings Tea and variety of sparkling wines from One Hope. Guests can also expect special appearances from cast members of ‘Say Yes To The Dress’ and more. Kleinfeld Bridal will also be providing the first 100 guests with custom cage bridal veils.

“Meghan Markle is set to become the first U.S. citizen to join the British Royal Family in 80 years, so we’re excited to throw the ultimate viewing party for her American fans who didn’t receive Royal Wedding invitations,” said Christine Haughney, ‎Regional Head of Marketing, ‎Merlin Entertainments. “This will be the only viewing party where you can sip tea with the Queen and “meet” Meghan!”

The attraction also continues a special "Meghans and Harrys go free" offer for guests named Meghan or Harry to visit free of charge until the May 19th wedding date (ID required).

High Tea with the Royals Presented by Walkers

Continuing the right royal summer of celebrations, the attraction also announced a dining delight opening this summer, High Tea with the Royals Presented by Walkers, where guests can enjoy tea and treats from Walkers Shortbread. (Remember, it’s Ma’am as in harm, not Ma’am as in ham!).

This morning’s festivities followed Madame Tussauds London who welcomed their own Meghan Markle figure this morning. With a unique stance, Madame Tussauds London’s figure sports the sold-out P.A.R.O.S.H. dress worn in their engagement interview.
