MERLIN'S MAGIC WAND FUN FESTIVAL AT MADAME TUSSAUDS NEW YORK!

This week, Madame Tussauds in partnership with Merlin's Magic Wand celebrated its annual FUN Festival, this year celebrating with the children and families of Ronald McDonald House in New York City! Merlin's Magic Wand believes that every child deserves to laugh, enjoy and cherish memorable experiences which is why we were they were honored to work with the well-deserving families at Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families in a strong, supportive and caring environment which encourages and nurtures the development of child-to-child and parent-to-parent support systems. 

Every participating child and their family got to experience an all expense paid experience atone of the top tourist attractions in Times Square, Madame Tussaud's New York! In addition to their admission ticket and the Marvel 4D Film and Experience, these special VIP guests were treated to free Make-Your-Own Souvenir Wax Hands and Goodie bags of sweet treats thanks to Dylan's Candy Bar! But that's not all! The A-List Party room was transformed to a special celebration room full of magicians, face painters and their very own DJ!

What is Merlin's Magic Wand?

Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation supports families with children facing challenges due to serious illness, disability or adversity through three Magical Spells:

• Magical Days Out - spell number one. The Charity provides tickets and help fund travel grants. Providing families a much needed break from their stressful daily routines and help create memorable experiences together at a Merlin Entertainments attractions such as: LEGOLAND® parks, SEA LIFE Centers, Madame Tussauds, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and many more around the world. In 10 years they have helped nearly 500,000 children and their families to have magical days out!
• Merlin’s Magic On Tour - spell number two, brings the magic to the children to unwell to visit an attraction through outreach visits at hospitals, treatment centers, and schools.
• Merlin’s Magic Spaces - the third and final spell, designing uniquely themed and highly interactive therapy and treatment rooms installed within hospitals and other charitable facilities.
