Toilet Roll News

We are home to the biggest global superstars, sporting legends, historical leaders and even superheroes, but today Madame Tussauds Sydney unveiled the latest celebrity to join the family: the toilet roll.

Displayed as part of the ‘Royal Flush’ exhibit in the World Leaders room, the toilet roll is housed on a velvet throne and will be monitored with 24 hour security, to ensure no one steals the priceless display.

Mark Connolly, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Sydney said, “Until this week, we didn’t give toilet paper the recognition that it really deserved. Seeing Australians celebrate this household item to such an extreme level this week made us realise that we too needed to honour the humble toilet roll with the ultimate celestial legacy – its own display at Madame Tussauds.

“I’m pleased to say that has been achieved today and anyone who is struggling to purchase toilet paper or has forgotten what it looks like can come in and marvel at our new ‘Royal Flush’ display within World Leaders room. The new display is already proving popular with guests who are having a ‘cracking’ great time admiring the exhibit!”
