The festive season can begin: The new area at Madame Tussauds in Vienna's Prater is officially open. The Christmas Star Festival, which marks the end of the festival series after Pop and Schlager and runs until 6th of January 2025, was ceremoniously unveiled in front of numerous media representatives and fans.

70 lucky fans who took part in an exclusive competition were able to attend the unveiling. They were the first to have the opportunity to marvel at permanent stars such as Robbie Williams, Katy Perry and Demi Lovato in new Christmas looks alongside temporary loans from Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber. Michael Bublé's likeness is wearing a black tuxedo specially made by his favourite designer Stefano Ricci.

Collectors' hearts beat faster
The online auction was launched at the same time as the new themed area and is now available for a two weeks. Four unique objects of famous personalities, which are already on display as wax figures, are up for bid and have been donated to a good cause. Among other things, 1x2 concert tickets including meet & greet for the Andreas Gabalier concert in Kitzbühel 2025 can be bid on, Dominic Thiem fans have the last chance to get their hands on a signed tennis outfit and Christina Stürmer is donating a signed MTV Unplugged fan box.

All proceeds will go to the in-house charity organisation ‘Merlin's Magic Wand’, which supports mentally and physically disadvantaged children worldwide

"Christmas is the season of giving, so we wanted to end our festival year in a fitting way. We are grateful to have a great collaboration with our stars, who have donated items for a good cause to enable us to launch such an auction" says Lukas Rauscher, Marketing Manager of Madame Tussauds Vienna.

The Christmas Star Festival marks the festive conclusion of the eventful festival year, which can be experienced until 6 January 2025.
