Michael got his big break in 2000 when he sang at the wedding of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney's daughter. Mulroney introduced him to producer David Foster, who promptly signed him to his label 143 Records!
Michael was born Canadian and naturalised as an Italian citizen in 2005. He now holds dual citizenship.
Did you know that Michael worked alongside his father as a commercial fisherman for six summers? He says that this job was the deadliest physical labour he has ever known in his life!
Michael is an avid hockey fan and co-owner of the Vancouver Giants.

Did you know that Michael was once a children's animator who called himself Mickey Bubbles?

Michael worked closely with our artists to design his character. He was immortalised on the red carpet in his typical pose and wore an elegant dinner jacket specially made for the character by Stefano Ricci, one of Bublé's favourite designers. His bow tie and shoes were also donated by him personally.
