- Heartthrob Chris Hemsworth is an Australian actor who has made a name for himself by playing beefy Marvel comic book character "Thor". Chris is the older brother of "Hunger Games" star Liam.
- Together with his brothers Luke and Liam, Chris was raised both in Melbourne and in the Australian Outback. Teir uncle was bushman Rod Ansell, who inspired the film "Crocodile Dundee" (1986).
- Hunky Chris gained 20 lbs (9 kgs) of muscle to play "Thor". Apparently, he actually gained too much weight and then struggled to fit into the costume.
