Vincent van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh, born on March 30, 1853, in Zundert, was a Dutch painter whose work became highly influential in the art world. Despite struggling with mental health issues and financial hardship, he created over 2,000 artworks, including some of the most celebrated paintings in history.

Van Gogh developed a distinctive style characterized by bold colors and expressive brushstrokes, which played a key role in the development of modern art.
He had a special bond with his younger brother, Theo van Gogh. Throughout his life, Theo provided Vincent with financial and emotional support, which allowed him to continue painting.
In 1889, Van Gogh painted The Starry Night, one of his most famous works, during his stay in a mental asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The painting reflects his emotional struggles and his deep connection with nature.
