Please note that the attraction will still be open for guests to explore after last entry. The tour through the attraction is self-guided. It can take you approximately 90 to 120 minutes to complete your tour.

We have a cloakroom available at an additional cost.

Unfortunately, due to security reasons we are unable to accept suitcases or large items of hand luggage into this attraction. If you arrive with these items, you can leave them in our cloakroom at an additional cost. More information can be found here.

You are unable to bring a buggy into the attraction, however this can be stored in our cloakroom at no additional cost. For small babies, we offer a baby carrier. 

Chamber of Horrors is based on some of the most infamous real crimes of the past 150 years. It features details of serious crime, violence and murder and includes real artefacts from crime scenes which some may find distressing. The recommended age is 16+ to enter this area.​

For your safety we do not recommend you enter if you have any of the following medical conditions:

  • High blood pressure or a heart condition​
  • Are affected by loud noises ​
  • Are affected by flashing lights​
  • Sensory sensitivities​
  • Pregnancy

We have baby-changing facilities located at regular points within the attraction. Please ask a member of staff for the nearest baby changing facilities on your visit.

We are now a cashless attraction. Please be ready to make on-site payments using a 'contactless' bank card.

Madame Tussauds London is a self-paced walk-through attraction, so how long your visit takes can depend on how much you would like to see, as well as how busy the attraction is. However, we usually recommend that it takes approximately 2 hours to experience all areas of the Madame Tussauds London.

It is easy to revalidate your ticket to visit on a later date. You can change your ticket date via our booking portal, details of which you can find on your e-ticket. Our booking guarantee allows you to move your ticket up to 3 times, with the flexibility to move bookings up to 1 hours before your arrival time.

We strongly advise you pre-book at Madame Tussauds to ensure your timeslot. We cannot guarantee entry if you attempt to book in person, particularly during our busier periods.

You can book a free carer ticket alongside your order when purchasing a standard, Fast track or multi-attraction ticket in advance from our website. You must purchase at least 1 full-priced ticket to be able to add a carer ticket to your basket.

On the day of your visit, you must present one of the following documents as proof of eligibility:

  • Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
  • Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award
  • Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) Disability Students’ Allowance (DSA), or DID card (UK Disabled ID card).
  • A valid Blue Badge
  • In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI)
  • Credibility’s Access Card with the carer/companion symbol
  • An International Equivalent of the Above

Terms & Conditions

  • Free carer tickets are only available when purchasing at least one full-priced ticket.
  • The carer must be 14+ years old.
  • Big Bus does not offer carer tickets. If a carer wishes to join a Big Bus tour, a standard ticket must be purchased on the Big Bus official website.
