Harry and Meghan’s figures have re-joined The Royal Family at Madame Tussauds London as the UK gears up to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 70-year reign.

The reunion, for a limited time only, comes as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex prepare to return to the UK to take part in HM The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations - bringing their family back to the UK for the first time since leaving for the US in 2020.

The Royal Family’s figures, standing alongside HM The Queen, have also been given a black tie makeover and refresh befitting the grandeur of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

  • HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, now wows in a sparkling emerald Jenny Packham gown worn by The Duchess twice to Royal functions; a state visit to Pakistan in 2019 and The Royal Variety Show in 2021.
  • The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, dazzles in the red, caped Safiyaa gown worn on one of her last Royal engagements at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall in London, March 2020.
  • The Duke of Sussex, HRH Prince of Wales and HRH The Duke of Cambridge have been dressed in dashing tuxedos. HRH The Duchess of Cornwall joins them in a stunning powder blue ball gown.

HM The Queen’s figure is the 23rd of 24 created of Queen Elizabeth II by us across her 70–year reign. She is dressed in a recreation of the white and silver lace dress, worn in the official Diamond Jubilee portrait photography, and covered in 53,000 Swarovski elements complete with a blue silk sash adorned by The Queen’s Garter Badge, topped off by a replica of the diamond and pearl George IV State Diadem.

Tim Waters, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: “With Harry and Meghan returning to the UK to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee it felt only right that our figures come together once more on our Royal Throne Room set to join in the family festivities.

“Our much-loved Royal Family figures have also been given an elegant new look ahead of the much-anticipated celebrations, decked out in their black tie finery to mark this once in a lifetime occasion.

“At Madame Tussauds London we have a long history with The Royal Family, with British monarchs doing us the honour of sitting for our artists since 1809. We’re so proud this has continued into the 20th century and we continue celebrating major milestones for Her Majesty The Queen.”
