• At 7 feet 6 inches (229 cm), Yao Ming holds the title of the tallest player in the NBA All-Star Game.
• Along with his towering stature, he donned shoes of an impressive EU52 size, measuring 33.4 cm (Bigger than a 2L Soda Bottle!).
• Yao Ming departed from the CBA with four records to his name: the highest number of career dunks, career blocks, season blocks, and game blocks. All of these records remain unbroken to this day.
• Yao Ming thrived as a member of the Houston Rockets for nearly a decade after being the first international player selected with the overall first pick in the 2002 NBA draft.
• He was also selected as an NBA All-Star five times throughout his basketball career.
• Yao Ming worked as a commentator for CCTV shortly after he retired from the NBA.
• In 2012, Yao Ming established his wine brand using grapes from Napa Valley, now called the "Yao Family Wines".
